2. Cari Coy hitting me blow the belt as she keep score in obvious attempt to disable me.

3. Most memorable losing match: Woody Hulsey 289 to my 279.

Hubie Neutzler

1. Bowl-A-Wile being built, married Mary on July 11. Went on honeymoon for two     weeks, returned to find workers on strike with no progress on Lanes.

2. Constant battle to keep enough pins boys.

3. 1958 automatic pin setters placed. Hosted WIBC State Tournament which was the first     time the women' state tournament bowled on automatic setters.

4. 1959 expanded to 20 lanes. Contractor left motorized concrete wheel barrows inside.     Bill and I spent one evening playing bumper cars.

5. 1960 West Gate opened. Had a bar and restaurant.

6. 1961 Bowl-A-Wile answers with the Tiki Lounge. Host Men' City with no bar stools,     tables or chairs. Just a bar and drinks.

7. Woody Hulsey, charter member of the PBA, became a friend and frequent visitor.

8. Hosting the Capitol City Tournament, an eight game singles, with a top prize of     $1000.00 Four four to five years, the whole Budweiser Team from St. Louis would     come down to bowl. Included Don Carter, Dick Weber, Bay Bluth, Pat Patterson, Billy     Welu, Tom Hennesey.

9. Personal Highlight: BPAA Elimination Tournament held every year in Chicago, with     state and local area qualifiers. Bowling in the finals At T and C in Columbia against     Leroy Buske, 20 pins down, struck out from fifth frame to win. Qualified for the state     in St. Louis. Met my old friends, Bluth Carter, Weber, Welu, Hennesey, Patterson and     came home.
