A very impressive field of 46 bowlers participated in today's 1st Annual Bill Olive Memorial Classic at the Fulton Bowling Center. The shot was challenging and only the 15 keglers that cashed averaged over 200. The field average in qualifying round was 194.05. The top 15 averaged 210.12 and the top five averaged 217.38.
Today was an emotional day for a lot of us as this was the first year that Bill Olive was not here to put his heart and soul in this tournament. This was his baby and no other tournament meant more to him. He loved seeing the level of talent that this day brings and I can’t help but think that in this 20th year he was looking down on us with a big smile on his face. Thank you to everybody that participated and we hope to see you again next year.
